Job Descriptions
Childrens' Creative Learning Centers employ childcare professionals in the following positions:
Head Teacher
Teacher
Teacher's Assistant
Floater
Head Teacher:
Works as the "manager" of an individual classroom to oversee curriculum planning and implementation, models appropriate staff to child interactions and works with families to communicate development progress. Must be at least 18 years of age and have experience as a teacher and an AA in Child Development is desired.
Teacher:
Work with head teacher to create and implement classroom curriculum. Work with children on development and communicate with families on daily happenings in the classroom. Must be at least 18 years of age. Teaching experience is also required, as well as a minimum 12 E.C.E. units.
Teacher's Assistant:
Assist teacher and head teacher in curriculum implementations. Work with children on development and communicate with parents Daily happenings in the classroom. Must be at least 18 years of age. ECE units are not required; some experience is preferred.
Floater:
Act as a support to various classrooms in the center. Assist teacher and head teacher in curriculum implementations. Work with children on development and communicate with parents Daily happenings in the classroom. Must be at least 18 years of age. Teaching experience is also required, as well as a minimum 12 E.C.E. units.
