Who is eligible to use the center?
First priority for enrollment into the First Gear Academy is for full-time and part-time employees of DTNA and their legal dependents. If spaces remain available after all first-priority personnel have been accommodated, the available spaces are filled by the second priority.
Second priority spaces are for the legal dependents for contractors and grandchildren of employees. If space still remains after the second priority families have been accommodated, spaces will be made available to the thirds priority. Third priority is for the community at large. Employees of DTNA will have priority enrollment over other groups if the center has a waiting list. Employment status and eligibility will be verified before the enrollment process can be completed.

How do I enroll my child in the center?
All required forms can be located at the Forms Section. One Interest form and $25 fee is required per child (siblings need individual forms). When the form is completed please submit to CCLC via fax at 888-678-6783. The $25 fee can be mailed along with a copy of the form.

When will I know if I have a space in the program?
Enrollment is currently being conducted on a “first come” basis. You will be contact by CCLC, via e-mail, within one week of your interest form being received regarding your enrollment status. At that time you will either be offered a space in the center or if no space is available in your child’s age group you will be notified that you have been added to the waiting list.
Important Dates:
- Lottery Forms and $25.00 deposit fee accepted September 8, 2008 – October 8, 2008
- Lottery placement completed and parent notification of space allocation, October 15, 2008
- First come enrollment process starts October 20, 2008
- Parent confirmation of accepting or rejecting space, October 20, 2008*
- Center enrollment application e-mailed to those accepting a space, October 21, 2008
- Complete the “enrollment application” and $300.00 tuition deposit paid; November 1, 2008.
